| Members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District were honored to be at New York Stewart International Airport to welcome home Ray Relyea and his daughter, Stefanie, following Ray’s recent Honor Flight — a well-deserved tribute to his service to our country.
Ray is a proud U.S. Navy Seabee veteran who served from 1967 to 1971. His commitment to service continued long after his military career, as he went on to serve as Past Fire Commissioner of the Pleasant Valley Fire District , Past President of the Pleasant Valley Fire Company, and a member of the Pleasant Valley Fire District for more than 50 years. Ray also served as Past Commander of American Legion Post 1302.
Ray’s dedication to our nation, our fire service, and our community is truly remarkable. We are proud to call him one of our own and grateful for his many years of service and commitment.
Please join us in thanking Ray for his service and welcoming him home from this memorable Honor Flight!
Welcome home, Ray! Thank you for your service to our country and our community! |
