| On August 3, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Pleasant Valley Fire District was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Hollow Crest Lane in the Town of Pleasant Valley.
Firefighters responded immediately and arrived on scene to find a working house fire. Crews quickly deployed handlines, conducted a coordinated fire attack, and brought the blaze under control while simultaneously searching the residence and checking for extension. Mutual aid departments assisted on the scene, while additional personnel provided station coverage to ensure continued protection for the community.
