This week, members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District headed to Station #1 to sharpen our Decontamination (Decon) skills.

Firefighters face a significantly higher risk of illness due to toxic exposures. By practicing immediate on-scene gear cleaning and proper equipment handling, we’re making health and safety "second nature" rather than an afterthought.
