During Winter Storm Fern, personnel from the Pleasant Valley Fire District left their families and warm homes to remain on standby, prepared to respond and protect the community at any moment.

While on standby, the team answered three ambulance calls and managed a fully involved vehicle fire involving a plow truck.

Despite whiteout conditions and extremely low temperatures, the Pleasant Valley Fire District maintained its dedication to safeguarding the lives and property of local residents.
