There is a flood watch issued for our area starting at 1PM Sunday through 7PM Monday. Flooding is possible with the heavy rain headed our way during that timeframe with 1.5 - 3.0 inches of rainfall quite likely from this system.
Better chances for rain showers arrives by the mid to late Sunday morning and into the afternoon with light to moderate rainfall expected.
Then by Sunday evening and overnight, rainfall will become widespread and moderate to heavy at times. Maybe some rain/snow mix at the end, late Sunday night and into Monday morning, as the system exits, with little to no snowfall accumulation expected.
Winds on Sunday will increase a bit, out of the south at 8 - 16 MPH with some gusts of 20 - 25 MPH possible during the day/evening. Winds later Sunday evening and into the overnight will increase, becoming more northwest and then north through the night and increasing to 15-25 MPH with gusts of 30-35 MPH likely, maybe some isolated higher peak gusts early Monday morning.
