NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION

LEGAL NOTICE

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE PLEASANT VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT ON DECEMBER 12TH, 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Pleasant Valley Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Fire Station #1 located at 1619 Main Street, Pleasant Valley, New York for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a 5-year term commencing on January 1, 2024, and ending on December 31, 2028.

All voters registered with the Dutchess County Board of Elections on or before November 20, 2023, shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for District Office shall have filed their names with the District Secretary, Jennifer Broas of the Pleasant Valley Fire District at the firehouse at 1619 Main Street, Pleasant Valley, New York, no later than, November 22, 2023.

A candidate must be a resident of the Pleasant Valley Fire District and a registered voter in the Town of Pleasant Valley or Hyde Park.
