The Salt Point Volunteer Fire Company and the Pleasant Valley Fire District wishes to thank Kim Williams from Williams Lumber and Home Centers, for their generosity and support this year for our Trees For Troops campaign.

Thank you also to our local fire companies, businesses and individuals who donated by dropping money in the buckets at the two coin drops this year or by stopping by to assist the loading process.

With everyone's generosity enough money was raised to send 500 Christmas Trees to military families so they can have as close to normal of a Christmas that they can. This year our trees went to the following bases...

* 140 trees went to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
* 300 trees went to Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
* 60 trees went to Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois.
