LODD - In Memory of Ex-Captain Michael Fischer of the Island Park Fire Department

Today, the Pleasant Valley Fire District stands together with other fire districts, departments and companies across the state in mourning the death of Ex-Captain Michael Fischer, 38 of the Island Park Fire Department in Nassau County, New York who suffered an apparent heart attack after a morning training session.

Words cannot express the pain they must feel at this time.

We wish extend our deepest condolences to the Island Park Fire Department and to your brothers, family and friends. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

We pray you all heal together and never forget his ultimate sacrifice. God Speed brother!
