We Answer Them All...Big Or Small

During the recent heatwave that has blanketed Pleasant Valley and the tri-state region, a special request came into the Pleasant Valley Fire District.

The Pleasant Valley Food Pantry Garden, which distributes fresh vegetables to our neighbors in need, was in need...of water. The excessive oppressive heat made it extremely difficult to keep the plants hydrated.

Working together, the Pleasant Valley Food Pantry Garden team acquired cans and barrels to store the water and the Pleasant Valley Fire District brought the water to the garden.

The Pleasant Valley Food Pantry is always in need of personal items...deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, razors, hygiene products and laundry detergent. Foods like soups, canned food like spaghetti O's and raviolis. Also ramen noodles are always in demand.

Please remember you can still donate anytime of any day. Food collection bins are located at Station # 1 on Main Street and Station # 2 on Cottage Street in Salt Point.

Currently the Pleasant Valley Food Pantry is feeding our neighbors, around 150+ families each week and the demand is growing.

Please donate if you can!
