But.. sometimes that emergence may be unplanned in the house or in a car on the Taconic State Parkway. That's why the Pleasant Valley Fire District EMS Division has to be prepared for the unexpected.

Using their years of experience, EMS Division officers Lieutenant Kathy Hickman, Lieutenant Brandon Kane and Lieutenant Barbara Oakes conducted a recent training class at Pleasant Valley Fire District Station # 1 for that "unplanned emergence".
