Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to 111 are forcasted for Pleasant Valley Fire District.
Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
There will not be much relief at night, with low temperatures in the 70's along with humid conditions persisting across much of the area Wednesday night and Thursday night.
Recommended actions - drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

If you do not have air conditioning in your home or lack shelter, the Pleasant Valley Town Hall Community Room will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 9AM to 4PM and will be closed on Friday and the Pleasant Valley Library will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 10AM to 8PM, and from noon to 6PM on Friday if you need to cool down. |
