| This past weekend, members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District joined personnel from several other fire districts, departments, and companies to participate in collection efforts at all Dutchess County Stop & Shop locations, the Newburgh Stop & Shop, and both East Fishkill Provisions Inc. sites. These activities were part of the 50th anniversary of 101.5 WPDH's Roof-A-Thon in support of Sparrow’s Nest.
Funds raised through this event help Sparrow’s Nest provide meals for up to 450 people each week who are affected by cancer. The community’s generosity plays an important role in supporting families during challenging times.
