Under the guidance and experience of ESS Captain Trevor Simoni and Engine Lieutenant Jay Meyer a vehicle extrication/stabilization drill was held on the extraction training pad at Station #1.

Attendees, including the new probationary members, were able to cut and stabilize the vehicle and practice removal of a simulated victim from the vehicle to the waiting ambulance.

As legendary football coach Vince Lombardi once said, “Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect”.
