| Members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District recently participated in a brush fire training drill conducted by New York State Forest Ranger Aubrey Russo.
During the training, Ranger Russo demonstrated the specialized equipment carried in her vehicle and worked with members to review tactics used to fight and prevent brush fires within the district.
The training provided an excellent opportunity for members to learn more about wildland firefighting operations while strengthening the working relationship between the Pleasant Valley Fire District and the New York State Forest Rangers. |
