Pleasant Valley Fire District Chief John Cronk and Lieutenant Eddie See were both awarded Firefighter of the Year by the Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association at their annual convention held at Lake George.

The award was in recognition of their life saving actions at a mutual aid house fire in the East Clinton Fire District on October 13, 2024.

Their dedication and bravery in the face of danger truly embodies the spirit of firefighting. Being recognized by your peers for life saving actions speaks volumes about your skill and commitment to protecting our community.
