PVFD EMS Welcomes Vassar Brothers Medical Center New Emergency Room In Grand Style

January 20, 2021

It was another busy day for the Pleasant Valley Fire District EMS Division last Saturday with back-to-back ambulance calls.

Ambulance 56-71 with a crew of EMS Lieutenant/EMT Mindy Robinson and Engine Lieutenant/EMT Andrew Ludwig transported a patient to the brand new beautiful Emergency Room at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

While they were there, Pleasant Valley ambulance 56-72, with a crew of Engine Lieutenant Jay Meyer and EMS Lieutenant/EMT Barbara Oakes also arrived with their patient from the second call and parked next to 56-71.

Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to over 1,200 calls last year but it's very rare to have both ambulances together at the same Emergency Room from two different calls. Amazing way to welcome an amazing facility.
