As President John F. Kennedy once said..."Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other" and it was very obvious the other day as members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District trained at the Dutchess County Fire Training Center.

Under the watchful experienced eyes of 2nd Assistant Chief/Municipal Fire Instructor John Cronk and Municipal Training Officer/Dutchess County Fire Instructor Tom Murphy, the Pleasant Valley Firefighters practiced their skills at the training center.

The two instructors covered a variety of topics such as: forcible entry, building search techniques, hydrant and standpipe operations, hose line advancing and pump operations.

Practice doesn't make perfect...PERFECT practice makes perfect!
