This afternoon at approximately 1500 hours, the Pleasant Valley Fire Department and Mobile Life Support Services ambulance were dispatched to a one car rollover auto accident on the Taconic State Parkway - Northbound.

Extrication of patient was performed in 12 minutes with a roof flap. The patient was transported with minor injuries.

Pleasant Valley firefighters and EMT’s train regularly to seamlessly to safely extricate patients in a timely manner.

Extrication tools used today were the Hurst eDraulic cutters, spreaders and Sawzall.
