Mother Nature really cooperated today by giving us a gorgeous fall day in the beautiful Hudson Valley to run our boot-drop fundraiser in front of the Pleasant Valley Town Hall to support "Trees for Troops.

Chairman of the "Trees for Troops" initiative, Past Company Chief and Company President Jeff Cady said, "To the people who stopped and dropped money in our buckets, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, because what you helped us do today was to bring Christmas to a military family. We are proud to provide fire and ambulance service to such a caring community. You are always there when we need you and we thank you for that. Every penny that we take in will be turned into a Christmas tree for a deserving military family. Thank you for being the best community any fire department could ask for".
