The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office would like to advise motorists to expect traffic delays and road closures this coming weekend – 9/16/22 thru 9/18/22 – from events related to the Pleasant Valley Weekend celebration.

On Saturday 9/17/22 traffic delays & closures are expected between the hours of 10 am and 12 pm due to a bike ride sponsored by the Pleasant Valley Lions Club. The affected roads will be North Avenue, Salt Point Turnpike, Sherow Road, and Main Street (Route 44).

On Sunday 9/18/22 traffic delays & closures are expected between the hours of 12 pm and 2 pm due to the annual Pleasant Valley Weekend parade. The affected roadways will be North Avenue, Martin Road, Sherow Road, and Main Street (Route 44).

In addition to the above motorists should expect higher than normal traffic volume around the Pleasant Valley Town Hall from Friday 9/16/22 thru Sunday 9/18/22, due to festivities being held at Cady Field during the entire weekend.
