A great American lived for 88 years in the Town of Pleasant Valley, NY.

This man embodied the true spirit of community, honor, duty, passion, giving of oneself in dedicated service to others.

He was a people connector.

An ambassador.

A storyteller.

A conversation with him was never simple or quick - he harbored a depth of knowledge, strong opinions and lifelong memories that he gladly shared. Many conversations began with I got something to say to you". So you had better sit down, give him your full attention and listen.

He was ALWAYS about his family and community.

He lived his life full and the legacy left by his passing is extensive.

We all benefited from his presence.

His name was Donald Cady Sr.

He was surrounded by all who loved him.
