Overnight, in a span of less than 4 hours, your Pleasant Valley Fire District Firefighters/EMT’s responded to a confirmed attic fire with a quick knockdown preventing fire extension into the full structure and three hours later a roll over auto accident with entrapment on the Taconic State Parkway which required extensive use of our Hurst Tools for extrication.

The patient from the motor vehicle accident was transported by Mobile Life to the hospital in stable condition. There were no reported injuries at the fire which remains under investigation at this time.
